Cloud Operation Engineer
The Engineering Lead for Cloud Operations has broad responsibility. You will be responsible for effectively planning and leading execution for all operational need. It is a demanding role calling for deep technical understanding, vision and hands-on execution to scale operations infrastructure to high levels of reliability, efficiency, and automation.
Responsibilities: • Manage technical operations for all cloud infrastructure • Ensure reliability of production systems, including upgrade and release processes and incident handling • Architect and review production systems for new and existing deployments • Budgeting, capacity planning and management of vendor relationships • Encourage a culture of excellence in reliability engineering; emphasizing visibility, efficiency, automation, and maintainability for all infrastructure
Qualifications: • A minimum of 6 years experience of engineering leadership in production environments • Significant, recent hands-on software engineering experience • Deep understanding of Web technologies, networking and network performance, DNS, HTTP, performance optimization, load balancing, and high-availability serving systems • Experience with cloud computing (such as AWS) highly desired • Knowledge of a wide variety of server-side technologies desired • Highly effective management and communication skills
Business Development Manager
In Business Development, you will be passionate about partnerships and excellent at planning, communicating, negotiating and managing relationships. The role requires a strategic mindset, a sales orientation, product understanding, revenue focus and strong understanding of the corporate learning landscape. This role is best suited for a high achiever with proven ability to develop B2B partnerships both on the strategic and tactical level.
Responsibilities • Create partnership strategy • Execute the strategy for partnerships and alliances, in alignment with the company’s overall strategy including relationships with technology partners, agencies and affiliates in the US and ultimately internationally • Navigate complex multi-party negotiations • Close partnership deals, and lead cross-functional teams to manage the on-boarding, enablement and joint go-to-market activity with partners • Track, analyze and communicate key metrics, including partner-driven revenue and partner-influenced revenue
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus • 5+ years of business development experience at start-ups and large Internet / technology companies is preferred • Strong technical competence in SaaS solution a plus • Highly strategic and capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues • Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment • Extensive knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology • Proven high standards of professionalism • Exceptional people skills who can build consensus and teams • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized. Hands-on • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Extensive negotiation experience, including comfort with legal aspects of negotiations and modeling partnership opportunities • Prior experience working in a high-growth or start-up technology company preferred
